Ciggle is a clothing brand known for its handmade & feminine fitted jeans. Quality and integrity are important aspects of their work ethic, as they are fed up with mass production and terrible working conditions.

They have made it their mission to put a stop to the fast fashion industry and the inhumane treatment and extortion of workers by reintroducing small stores with handmade cotton products and making people fall in love with quality and ethical working conditions again.

Not only did the client need a complete rebranding, but they also wanted to create a visual connection to their brand. From a new logo to a special pattern with a unique color palette, they wanted their brand to stand out and grab attention.

I simplified their current logo and gave it a modern twist by using 4 geometric, circle-like shapes. I rotated the shapes in a specific way to resemble the shape of a cotton flower.

This simple but unique logo not only arouses curiosity and creates some attention, it is also very memorable and can be easily recognized. It was also important to create a logo design that could be used on their social media accounts and web presences, while easily fitting on packaging paper or a shopping bag.

For the color palette, I decided on a modern, yet very feminine mix of colors to appeal to and attract Ciggle’s target audience. Since all of Ciggle’s jeans are pretty much the same color, it was important and necessary to introduce new colors that would be a great contrast to the classic blue tones of the jeans. Still,

I had to be careful to address the aspect of nature, as it plays a big role in the brand identity. That’s why I opted for a very dominant shade of green. To create a visual contrast, I opted for a red complementary shade to convey a very dominant message for the brand that will make it stand out from the crowd.

Overall, the boldness of the colors, but also the simplicity of the logo leaves an impression on the client that will help them recognize the brand in the future and associate it with positive and calm feelings.
